Home Helpers Teams Up with Veterans Care Coordination

Veterans Care
Veterans CareHome Helpers, the nation’s leading senior care franchise, has partnered with Veterans Care Coordination to assist veterans and their surviving spouses in acquiring home care benefits that they are entitled to.  With one in three seniors in the United States being a veteran or a surviving spouse, the partnership has a major market to focus on helping.

The number one challenge many Americans face is how they will pay for the care they need,” said Emma Dickison, president of Home Helpers, Caring Hearts and Direct Link. “What many veterans and their spouses do not realize is that they may be eligible for up to $24,228 per year of tax-free money to pay for home care services. Through our partnership with Veterans Care Coordination, we are able to assist qualifying veterans and their spouses apply for and obtain the Aid and Attendance Benefit through the Department of Veterans Affairs to help cover their medical expenses, including Home Helpers home care services.”

Veterans Care Coordination makes the process for applying for the aid stress-free.  They also help veterans and their surviving spouses by offering an interest-free loan assistance to clients that cannot afford the up-front costs that are required.
